Out and About on Galiano

After several years of writing and ranting for my own amusement, there has been a shift toward the extrovert. Our little Galiano Island is full of great events, and over the past few months I've read at the following ones:

·       March 8, 2026 International Women's Day at The Galiano Inn (a revised 6-minute version of "No Roses in Roseville")

·       April 4, 2026 Galiano Literary Festival Open Mic at Oxeye Cafe (a new 8-minute piece called "Pier One Promises")

·       May 24, 2026 Galiano Writers Read Invitational Group Reading at Galiano Library (a new 8-minute piece called "Meeting Marcus")

My next foray into reading before an audience will be at the Galiano Literary Festival in mid-July of this year. It's an honor to be invited. I'm working on a new piece for a 15 to 20-minute time slot. The theme is "Stories of Home." Stay tuned!
